Good World Peace Festival 2022

Our mission for the Good World Peace Festival is to shine a light on mental health and provide teens a supportive environment through conversation, art and music.

We will host face-to-face conversations among teens, allowing them an opportunity to talk in an unscripted, no pressure, no judgement forum in a safe environment where they can express themeselves and discuss different aspects of life.

inTent Talks: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Three tents will be set up by the Hermosa Beach Pier, under which teens can discuss the topics: sports and humanity, human responsibilities, and humanity and technology.

Each talk will last about 25 minutes and the teens can then rotate to a different tent. Facilitators in the tents include fellow teens from the Beach Cities Health District, alumni from the teen treatment center Insight Treatment in El Segundo and other volunteers.

The tents hold an 8 person limit and have cushions for seating in a circle.

Cell phones are not allowed in the tents.

Live Music 1p.m. to 8 p.m.

The event will also feature a live mural painting from local artist Jake Tedesco; folks are invited to help paint.

Following the live music at 8 p.m., raffle prizes will be announced, including a custom Scott Anderson Slingshot surfboard, a Spyder skateboard, a Dive N’ Surf wetsuit and more.
